1. What I like about the book?
This book contains plenty of information regarding the most contemporary implant practice, which is invaluable given that implant dentistry is the fastest growing development in current dentistry. Moreover, the fact that this book is suitable for novice clinicians who wish to understand more about latest developments in implant dentistry, and also experienced clinician who wish to update themselves with the latest ridge site augmentation techniques and technologies. As with all good books, this book is equipped with colourful, illustrations taken from real life clinical scenarios so that we would not have to paint the picture ourselves. The chapters are divided in such a way that the flow is smooth and continuous, with knowledge from one chapter laying the groundwork for the subsequent chapter. For example, the chapter revolving around soft tissue augmentation is followed up the next step in the clinical protocol of implant dentistry: soft tissue development with interim or permanent implant restorations.
2. Brief content of the book.
This book is specifically devoted to 1 aspect of implant dentistry rather than an overview of the principles and practice of everyday implant therapy. As the name implies, implant site development, prior to the placement of implant or in fact, even preceding the drilling of bone to receive the implant is the major focus here. The book starts off with anatomy of the implant site to get readers accustomed to the nomenclature used, and then dives deep into business by introducing readers to the method of diagnosing the proper case so that the proper implant site development methods, namely guided tissue regeneration, socket preservation techniques and distraction osteogenesis can be matched to the corresponding cases. Next, the individual components of each technique is explained in depth. There is also a chapter that integrates orthodontics with implant dentistry, wherein orthodontic treatment is utilized to optimize space and position to place a dental implant. Chapters about interdisciplinary management like this is very conducive to a more holistic treatment for our patients.
3. Does it suit you or any other programs and why?
Being a fifth year dentistry student, I can steadfastly say that this book is catered only to dentistry students. Implant dentistry is gaining pace and it is only right that future dental practitioners like the up and coming dentistry students to be accustomed to the practice of implant dentistry. Dentistry students from third years onwards might find this an invaluable reading material. The reason that I do not advocate this book to the more junior students is because as aforementioned, the book is written for both novice and experienced clinicians, but clinicians nonetheless. A certain degree of experience in clinical practice will greatly enhance your understanding. Students from other programs will not find this book an entertaining read, and there are plenty of other reading materials relevant to their field of study both in library and our e-learning portal.
4. Would you recommend this book to your colleagues and why?
Yes, I would advocate this book to all my batch mates, who will be graduating soon and step into the world as professional dental practitioners. This book will be indispensable to our understanding of the fastest growing prospect in current dentistry. Moreover, I would also advocate this book to all my lecturers, as implant dentistry is not a standalone discipline, but involving and integrating the practice of periodontics, oral surgery and prosthodontics. This is especially true for the oral surgeons, because implant site development involves sophisticated surgical techniques that are the bread and butter of oral surgeons, such as distraction osteogenesis. Lastly, I would advise all my colleagues and aspiring dental students to keep this book in mind, as implant site development is a rare topic to be discussed so heavily about and the knowledge from this book will open up the full potential of implant dentistry and allow cases that are usually deemed unsuitable for dental implants to be feasible after the correct implant site development treatment.

1. What I like about the book?
This book is going to help me to structure my research in appropriate manner. I love this book because it also help me to have a brief idea of what kind of research should I do as the book describes the pros and cons for every particular types of research. I liked how the book is structured according to different parts of assessments that should have in one’s research. I especially liked how the books actually presented some of the example of the research and schematic diagrams to help the other users utilise this book as their guidelines.
2. Brief content of the book.
As the title already mentioned the main contents of the book which are divide into three main parts Design, Statistics and Implementation respectively. Each parts contain a thorough dissection of each main topics in order to help user to understand more regarding research methods. Part 1 consist of 18 subtopics while part 2 and 3 respectively contain 30 and 33 subtopics.

The content of these chapters was applicable not just to rehabilitation, but to other disciplines involved in clinical research such as other medical specialties, psychology, nursing and the scope of the book expanded further. The potential impact of the book also became more apparent to health care providers.

I will definitely recommend this book to other student especially those who are taking statistics module and student who engage with their research project. 1. What I like about the book?
This book gives a clear picture of breast surgical technique by showing step by step through colorful pictures and simple explanation. It also covers the most popular breast issues in surgery , including new ablative and reconstructive procedures.
2. Brief content of the book.
‘The Atlas of Breast Surgical Techniques’ presents state-of-the-art visual guidance on today’s full range of breast surgery techniques. The book provides more than 550 full-colour illustrations and operative photos, biopsy specimens and artists’ renderings of key anatomy.
The atlas consisted of six sections with 25 chapters in total. Each chapter is divided into surgical anatomy, preoperative consideration, indication, technique, postoperative care and ends with pearls and pitfalls.
3. Does it suit you or any other programs and why?
It suits clinical medical students and those who are curious about surgical technique in breast operation. Clinical phase medical student can have a look at specific topics which are provided in the journal. It covers wide range and emphasize each topic nicely.
4. Would you recommend this book to your colleagues and why?
I would like to recommend to students in semester 6 and above, even imu graduates who like to have posting in O&G surgery can read through it and practise accordingly. this will be a good reference book for breast surgical technique.

1. What I like about the book?
I like that the book is very comprehensive and informative. It contains a massive amount of up-to-date current understanding of forensic medicine. Also, the book is written in such an organized way with simple English, making it very readable. Many chapters are covered in great details with at least 10 references.
2. Brief content of the book.
There are chapters on substance misuse, child abuse, sexual abuse, investigation of death and injury which are very relevant to our curriculum. On top of that, chapters such as the doctor in court, custody medicine physical conditions and psychological conditions discuss the legal responsibilities of a general practitioner are very interesting and engaging.
3. Does it suit you or any other programs and why?
It suits medical students, no doubt. However, I am reserved when it comes to students from other courses. All in all, I would say it is a captivating book. If you enjoy TV shows such as CSI and Bones, and would like to make sense of the things they do and say in the shows, this could be your book!
4. Would you recommend this book to your colleagues and why?
Yes and no. It depends on what one is aiming to achieve. For instance, if you were targeting to pass exam, lecture notes would be sufficient. However, I personally feel that this book is very helpful if one wishes to polish his forensic knowledge. Also, be prepared to take days or even weeks to finish this book due to its heavy content.

I really like the fact that there is many detailed drawings and illustrations that were labelled in the book as this helps me picture each organ in the reproductive system much more easily. The drawings are also quite realistic which gives an adequate image of how the real parts would look like. Also, there are detailed descriptions about each parts of the organs.
2. Brief content of the book.
This books thoroughly covers the anatomy aspect of the reproductive system. There are descriptions on the development of the genital tracts, information about the hormones involved or secreted by the organs in reproductive system as well as some coverage on puberty and abnormalities in puberty. Majority of the book focuses on the organs and their functions in the reproductive system, such as the testes, ovaries, vulva etc. Each chapter of the book comes with detailed illustrations for ease of understanding.
3. Does it suit you or any other programs and why?
It would be quite helpful to me in terms of understanding the structure and function of the organs. It may be a bit too detailed for the Pharmacy course in general but very helpful to those who wants to do further reading. This book would suit the Medicine and Dentistry course as well.

1. What I like about the book?
I like about how the content being categorised in this book. Contents are very systematic and each step of development of nervous system are stated clearly with detailed explanation. Nervous system is a very confusing and broad topic, but this book listed it out the confusing part and this help us easier to read and absorb the knowledge.
2. Brief content of the book.
This Book has around 22 big chapters including introductions. In each big chapter, there are many subchapters under it. For example, under chapter Nervous System, there are subchapter such as the overall view, development and structure of brain and it basic elements. The book included numerous different types of information related to nervous system , brain and spinal cords. It even explains the function and structure of cranial nerves with full details. The most exciting part is that this book contains colourful picture to let the reader has a look of various structure such as brain and nerve.
3. Does it suit you or any other programs and why?
I found it useful for student who is interested in studying of the nervous system and how it works. This book is the best for medical students as in Semester 4 and 5 , we will have to study deep down into nervous system and all it related structure and functions. For other causes, this book may be useful for pharmacy or health science causes because brain is included in everything of the body

I would recommed this book to my friends and colleagues because this book has a lot of informations that related to our course and other courses. This book definitely very useful for those students who want to study more and more about nervous system
