EMBASE DATABASE IS NOW ON-TRIAL

Dear all,

Please be informed that Embase Database is now activated via trial and valid until 2nd June 2018.
Embase is a biomedical and pharmacological database of published literature designed to support information managers and pharmacovigilance in complying with the regulatory requirements of a licensed drug.

LIBRARY CLOSED IN CONJUNCTION WITH 14TH GENERAL ELECTION

Dear all,

Please be informed that IMU Library will be closed on 9th May 2018 (Wednesday) in conjunction with the 14th General Election.

There is also a possibility that 10th and / or 11th May 2018 will be declared as a public holiday by the party who wins the upcoming election, thus the Library will be closed if such declaration is made.

Recommended Semester 1 Books Exhibition

Dear all,

Please be informed that the Library is displaying the recommended books for semester 1 at the Library lobby from 1st – 30th March 2018 in order to promote available resources for the new intakes.

All students (especially semester 1 students) and faculty members are encouraged to borrow these books for their learning and teaching purposes. Books displayed are related to the below subjects:

i.    Anatomy.
ii.   Physiology.
iii.  Human biology.
iv.  Microbiology.
v.   Biochemistry.
vi.  Social Psychology.
vii. Other related semester 1 subjects.

Other than printed copies, we also display posters of our subscribed  e-books related to semester 1 subjects mentioned above, which is accessible via the Library portal. We have prepared QR codes for you  to scan and access the e-books using your devices.
