You are invited to attend a talk session, conducted by Mr. Alexius Cheang from Psychology department on “How to acquire Psychology related contents through IMU Library portal”. Please refer below details:
Date: 29th June 2016 (Wednesday)
Time: 11:00 am – 12:00 noon
Location: Library computer area (inside Library, Collaborative Study Area), Bukit Jalil
Mr. Alexius will demonstrate various methods in locating and retrieving Psychology related contents available from IMU Library digital collection. The methods include:
1. Identifying which e-resources are suitable for Psychology program (e-books and e-journals)
2. Using Basic and Advanced Searches
3. Filtering contents (Full text access or abstract)
4. Using Ebsco Discovery Services (EDS) Search Engine
5. Using appropriate and trusted guidelines related to Psychology
Attendance is compulsory for lecturers who are teaching Psychology students and students from Psychology program who are currently preparing thesis and undertaking research subjects.
Newly joined faculty members are encouraged to attend this session. Though this session will focus on contents related to Psychology, similar approaches are applicable for other subjects as well.
