Library Workshop: Mendeley

Dear all,

Please be informed that the library will organize a Mendeley workshop as below via TEAMS:




The workshop will focus on:

    1. Registering individual account                                                                   
    2. Importing Reference to Mendeley from:                                
          i. ProQuest RefWorks                                            
          ii. EndNote                                                                                                                                    
    3. Importing reference and its article from Google Scholar                                
    4. Importing reference and its article from Ebsco Discovery Services (EDS)    
    5. Importing reference from websites                                                        
    6. Adding citation in your Word                                                      

* Do attend the workshop using your computer as no. 6 above will require the use of Microsoft Word.

 
This workshop is recommended for those who:

    1. Are new to Mendeley
    2. Are preparing their thesis / research and those recently joined the university
    3. Would like to migrate references from their ProQuest RefWorks / EndNote to Mendeley account

Library Workshop: ProQuest RefWorks

Dear all,

Please be informed that the second ProQuest RefWorks Workshop of the year will be conducted as below via TEAMS:

The workshop will focus on:

  1. Registering an individual account
  2. Importing reference from Legacy RefWorks to ProQuest RefWorks
  3. Importing reference from EDS search engine
  4. Importing reference from Google Scholar
  5. Importing reference from websites (such as NICE, SIGN, The Star, etc.)
  6. Generate citation via Microsoft Word

* Do attend the workshop using your computer as no. 6 above will require the use of Microsoft Word.


This workshop is recommended for those who:

  • Are new to RefWorks
  • Are preparing their thesis / research and those recently joined the university
  • Would like to migrate references from their Legacy RefWorks to ProQuest RefWorks account


* Reminder: LEGACY REFWORKS will soon be deactivated and no longer able to be accessed beginning 30 June 2023, and it will be replaced with ProQuest RefWorks.
