RefWorks Workshops with Librarian

Dear All,

Please be informed that Library will conduct its first RefWorks workshop of the year on 29/4/2015. Details as follow:

Date: 29/4/2015 (Wednesday) 
Time: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm 
Venue: E-Lab 3 (3.01.03), IMU Bukit Jalil 
 

Here are some of the features available from RefWorks:

1. Accessible anywhere with internet connection. 
2. Allow users to share reference with their colleagues. 
3. User-friendly: Using “direct export” from other databases such as Science Direct to RefWorks.
4. Saving articles / documents in the database. 
5. Prepare citation. 

Students and staff who are preparing their thesis / research and those recently joined the university are encourage to attend the workshop.

BMJ Archive & Current Collection Now On Trial

Dear all,

Please be informed that BMJ Archive & Current Collection is on trial until 8th May 2015.

Kindly visit IMU Library Portal http://i-lib.imu.edu.my or Trial to access the database.

There are many journals available in this package such Acupuncture in Medicine, BMJ Quality Improvement Reports, Gut, Heart, Postgraduate Medical Journal, etc.

New Operating Hours for Batu Pahat and Kluang Library

Dear all,

Due to low numbers of library users, Director of Learning Resources, Dean, School of Medicine and Dean, Clinical School have agreed that Batu Pahat and Kluang Library will have new opening hours as below starting from 1st of April 2015 (Wednesday):

Sunday – Thursday : 8.30 a.m. until 9.00 p.m.
Friday : Closed
Saturday : 8.30 a.m. until 12.30 p.m. (Half day)

Please take note, renewal and borrowing due date will be affected according to the new operation hours. Kindly refer to transaction slip for details.
