Scopus Database Now On Trial

Dear all,

We wish to inform you that the library has been granted access to Scopus database as a trial package from 1st Oct until 30th Nov 2021. The link is http://i-lib.imu.edu.my/NewPortal/index.php/online/trials/670-scopus-trial 

We appreciate you to really use this database optimally as lack of usage will again impact the subscription renewal. We had subscribed Scopus prior to 2021 but access was very low. In view of costs saving, the subscription was terminated but we realised many of you were upset for various reasons. It was very hard to get good subscription fee to suit our limited budget, but we managed finally to re-subscribe from Jan 2022, with the help of our Pro VC Education & Institutional Development to ensure that your research activities are not disturbed and more research information can be obtained via Scopus.

Please let us know if any of you require training on how to use Scopus effectively, we can arrange virtual training session to assist you.
