LIBRARY CLOSED – Hari Raya celebration

Dear all,

Please be informed that IMU Library will be closed at 5:00 pm on 25/7/2014 (Friday) until 29/7/2014 (Tuesday) in conjunction with Hari Raya celebration. Library operation will resume as usual from 30/7/2014 (Wednesday) onwards.

Please be reminded that you need to renew all library books you borrowed before the closure by coming to the library counter, or call Circulation Counter at 03-2731 7319 with your borrowing details. Alternatively,  you are empowered to renew the books from your end via i-loc.

Research Books Exhibition at Library Lobby

It is with our great pleasure to let you know that the library is organising "Research Books Exhibition" at the Library lobby area (in front of Library Café) from 11/7/2014 until 29/8/2014. Books displayed are related to Research methodology, writing papers, literature reviews and SPSS as supplements to many other related titles available in e-format via our digital library [new library portal/]  

We encourage you to have a look at the displays hence borrow them from the library should you find it relevant. You are also encourage to use the above link to access the library portal in Beta format (prior to official launch) to access our many digital library collection. Please free to contact any of the librarians (Zuhanariah, Robayah, Norhalim or Razman) should you need further assistance.

We are happy to lend our support towards you and the university in becoming a research university. Hopefully, this exhibition will benefit you in fulfilling your research needs.

RefWorks Workshops with Librarian

Dear All,

Library will conduct several RefWorks workshops in the month of July and August:

Here are some of the features available from RefWorks:

1. Accessible from anywhere with internet connection.
2. Allow users to share reference with their colleagues.
3. User-friendly:  Using “direct export” from databases such as Science Direct to RefWorks.
4. Saving articles / documents in the database.
5. Prepare citation.

Students and staff who are preparing their thesis / research and recently joined the university are encouraged to attend the workshop.

Dear All,

This is a new and improved library portal (beta version) which is responsive in terms of viewing experience, easy reading and navigation across a wide range of devices (from mobile phones to desktop computers).
